Deniz dibi kirliliği sorununa çözüm olarak geliştirilen CLEANBOT, deniz tabanına inecek olan kamera ile plastik, cam, metal ve ambalaj atıkları gerçek zamanlı nesne tespit algoritması kullanarak tespit edip pompa ile deniz yüzeyinde bulunan çöp kutusuna taşıyacaktır. Bu taşınma işlemi sırasında toplanan su, çöp kutusunun içerisinde bulunan filtre sistemi ile mikro ve makro plastiklerden arındırılıp temiz su denize geri döndürülecektir.

Developed as a solution to the problem of seabed pollution, CLEANBOT will detect plastic, glass, metal, and package wastes using a real-time object detection algorithm with a camera pipe that will descend to the sea bed and transport those wastes to the garbage can on the sea surface with the pump system. The water collected during this transportation process will be refined from micro and macro plastics with the filter system in the garbage can and the treated water will be released back to the sea.
